3. E-mail counsellingFor many people e-counselling is an ideal way of seeking help. Just some of the benefits are increased availability; convenience (more flexibility and options with regard to appointments); greater anonymity (some people feel safer and are able to be more open); and time efficiency (you don’t need to take time off work). E-counselling can be extremely user-friendly for people working shifts, or living in rural and remote locations, or for those who are unable to leave their home or travel to an office. Online counselling is also good for people who have hearing difficulties. Writing about your problem can be therapeutic in itself.
